Recently Dave got to catch up with Lester and gift his story, while also celebrating his sucess as a AODT Court graduate. Here is a short recap from Dave.
Lester came to the latest He Takitini graduation recently at Auckland District Court where he received his taonga to recognise his achievement as the 60th graduate of the AODTC Drug Court, Te Whare Whakapiki Wairua in 2015. Lester hit hard times when he left the court but has been able to rebuild again and now stands strongly in recovery, living in his own home, with his partner, another graduate, and living the life he always dreamed of.
