It was great to catch up with Shannan and gift back her wonderful story of resilience and recovery. We are so grateful to Shannan for sharing her story with us, it such a delight to see her standing strong in her recovery, as a leader in her whānau and her community.
Shannan is the Peer Support team leader at the Odyssey AODTC Drug Court team, Te Whare Whakapiki Wairua. She is half way through a Bachelor of Social Health and Wellbeing degree, and often speaks in Justice and Recovery settings as a leader and an inspiration to so many others.
