Come join us at AUT City Campus to celebrate the launch of our project findings, films and book of whānau stories from He Ture Kia Tika.

Please note the date has been changed and is now occurring on March 1st, from 5pm-7pm.

This five-year project aimed to ‘Let the Law be Right’ for whānau experiencing mental distress and addiction while in the justice system. Our proposed key actions for a solution-focused justice system are grounded in lived experience from whānau and hapori striving for recovery, whānau ora, and lives without criminal offending.

The launch is an exciting opportunity to share our key action points with you alongside films and books created with whānau and hapori and discussions on working together to create trauma-informed solutions. It will be a fantastic celebration of the power of listening to the lived experiences of the criminal justice and health systems to create positive solutions.

This free catered event will be hosted by AUT at the city campus on March 1st from 5 pm – 7 pm. Spots are limited, so register below to secure your spot.

We appreciate the Borrin Foundation, who have made this project and launch possible with their generous funding.
